OBITUARY: Dale M. Hove, 1926-2003, Worth Co. Iowa [ Northwood Anchor online - Sep. 28, 2003 ] Dale M. Hove Dale M. Hove, 77, of Shelton, Washington, died Sept. 5, 2003, surrounded by his family. Funeral services was held Sept. 14 at Faith Lutheran Church in Shelton, Washington. Burial was at Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor, Washington. Dale was born in Northwood, Iowa on June 29, 1926, the son of Robert and Elma (Aase) Hove. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp. He graduated from UCLA, School of Public Health, and worked for the Los Angeles County Health Department as an industrial hygienist until his retirement. He married June Pederson on June 22, 1952. They had two children, Diane Heltsley and Dean Hove. He lived in Hollywood, CA for 30 years before moving to Shelton. While in Hollywood, he was a very active member of the Hollywood Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife, June; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Gary Heltsley; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Kristina Hove and grandchildren, Emelie and Roy Heltsley.
