Henry B. Logemann Jr.
Henry B. Logemann, Jr., 73, Northwood, died Sunday, July 20, 2003.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at First
Lutheran Church, Northwood, with burial at Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood.
Visitation with family will be held one hour prior to service. A complete
obituary will be in next week's Anchor.
Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, is in charge of arrangements.

Henry B. Logemann
Henry B. Logemann, Jr., 73, affectionately known in life as Junior Logemann,
died on July 19, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa, Mason City.
Funeral services for Junior were Saturday at the First Lutheran Church,
Northwood, with Pastor Allan Stoa officiating. Burial was at Sunset Rest
Cemetery, Northwood.
Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, was in charge of arrangements.
Junior was born at Deer Creek Township, Worth County, Iowa, on June 20,
1930, the only child of Henry B. and Melvine (Tollefsrud) Logemann. He was
baptized into the Lutheran Church on July 9, 1930, by the Rev. John
Yevasakker and confirmed at First Lutheran Church by Rev. O. H. Hovey in
the spring of 1944. He received his elementary education in the Deer Creek
Township Grade School and graduated from Northwood High School in 1948.
Junior served his country in the Army during the Korean conflict. After
his honorable discharge, he returned to Northwood and farmed until
retirement. Junior was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Northwood,
and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #6779 in Northwood.
He attended many lutefisk suppers throughout the area and enjoyed eating
at various restaurants in a 60-mile radius of Northwood. He also bought
many lunches. Junior enjoyed visiting with many new acquaintances he
met at various shopping malls. He was a good carpenter and enjoyed
building on his farm and also loved gardening.
Survivors include many cousins and friends, especially Arlys Reeder and
Bonnie Brevig, of Northwood. He was preceded in death by his parents.
