OBITUARY: Andrew Mehus 1885-1972, Worth County, Iowa


                               Andrew Mehus

Andrew Mehus (86) was born March 13, 1885 in Worth Co. to Hans and Gunvor
Tromo Mehus.  He married Helma Harmon on June 3, 1914 in Northwood.  He was 
a farmer and had been active in Farm Bureau.

He is survived by son, Dale, Northwood; three daughters, Mrs. Maurice
(Diana) Turvold, Austin, MN; Mrs. Harold (Marjorie) Haugo, Kasson, MN;
Mrs. Elaine Shelley, Burbank, CA; 7 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1970, two sisters and three brothers.  

The funeral was held at Silver Lake with the Rev. Otto Schmidt officiating.
