OBITUARY: Mrs. G.G. Mellem, Worth County, Iowa


                            Mrs. G.G. Mellem

Mrs. G.G. Mellem (67 yr.) died.  Mr. and Mrs. Mellem had been residents 
of the Joice community nearly 50 years before moving to Minneapolis.  
They settled on their homestead 3 1/2 miles east of Joice in 1875 or 80. 
They reared a large family, eleven of whom survive their mother.  Mr. 
Mellem also survives her.  They moved to Minneapolis in 1919.

The funeral was held at the Bristol church and conducted by the Rev. 
Rosenqvist.
