                            Virgil Earl Patterson

Virgil Earl Patterson, 77, died Thursday, June 5, at Menifee Valley Medical
Center in Sun City, CA.

Virgil was the son of the late Earl Patterson and the late Minnie
Hendrickson. He was born and raised in the Northwood area. He lived in Sun
City, CA 13 years. Previously he lived in Perris, CA for 10 years. He was
an underwater operations engineer at the Naval Undersea Center in San Diego,
CA for 31 years. Virgil served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1944 until
1946 and was member of the Perris Valley Flyers.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two sons, Jim of Sun City, CA, and
Dennis of Hemet, CA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Patterson and Minnie
Hendrickson and a brother, DeWayne Patterson. If you wish to express your
