Iowa [Northwood Anchor online - Posted June 18, 2003] Gene Allen Reyerson Gene Allen Reyerson, 63, of Rockford, IL, formerly of Northwood, died Thursday, May 15, 2003, in Rockford. Graveside memorial services were held Thursday at the Sunset Rest Cemetery in Northwood, with Rev. Allan J. Stoa of First Lutheran Church in Northwood officiating. Conner Colonial Chapel, Northwood, was in charge of the arrangements. Gene Allen Reyerson was born on Oct. 15, 1939, the son of Adolph and Grace (McGerra) Reyerson in Silver Lake, IA. Gene worked for General Motors in Southgate, CA and also worked for International Minerals and Chemicals in Mason City. Gene loved to travel and do car body restoration. Gene is survived by his two sisters, Patty Arispe of Mason City, and Cheryal Bottleman and her husband Duwayne of Northwood, as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal and maternal grandparents, four brothers, Norance, Russell, Laverne, and Roger, and two sisters, Bonnie and an infant sister Dorothy.
