OBITUARY: Roger Dean Reyerson, 1936-1997, Worth Co., Iowa Roger Dean Reyerson Roger Dean Reyerson, 60, Emmons, died Monday, March 17, 1997, at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20, at 1:30 p.m. at Silver Lake Lutheran Church, rural Northwood, with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be today, (Wednesday) March 19, from 4-7 p.m. at Mittelstadt Funeral Home, Lake Mills, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Roger was born October 13, 1936, at Naeve Hospital, Albert Lea, Freeborn County, Minnesota, the son of William and Evelyn B. (Nystuen) Reyerson. On April 13, 1957, he was united in marriage to Deloris Herfindahl at a Lutheran parsonage in Glenville. Roger owned and operated Roger's Mobil Station in Emmons. He made a life out of helping people. He is survived by his wife, Deloris; three sons, Ray Reyerson, Paul and his wife, Stephanie Reyerson and Keith Reyerson and his fiance, Kathy Lawson, all of Emmons; and eight grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his parents and one son, Larry Reyerson. Pallbearers will be Bruce Nelson, Steve Nelson, Robert Henderson, Donny Harang, Wayne Infrelie and Paul Nystuen. ----------------------- Note: Deloris Reyerson passed away from cancer in August, 2003.
