OBITUARY: Kaleb Eliam Sorbo, Worth County, Iowa Kaleb Eliam Sorbo Kaleb Eliam Sorbo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Knut Sorbo of Silver Lake Twp. died May 10, 1925 at Cherokee. He was born May 19, 1889. He was baptized by the Rev. S. Tordal and confirmed the same year on October 16, 1904 by the Rev. N.E. Boe. He had been ill over 21 years with a mental derangement. After much medical attention, it was decided that the illness was incurable. He spent nine years at Cherokee and the cause of death was tuberculosis. Survivors include his father; five brothers, Ole, Andrew, Gustav, Nels and Oscar; four sisters, Mrs. Ed Loberg, Mrs. Tosten Odegaard, Mrs. Norris Oyer and Miss Sena Sorbo. Oscar and Sena are at home and all the children live in Silver Lake, except Andrew who lives in Alberta, Canada. The funeral was held at Silver Lake, with the Rev. H. Fosnes officiating.
