OBITUARY: Jens Sorenson, 1899-1972, Worth County, Iowa


                             Jens Sorenson

Jens Sorenson (73) died February 13, 1972 at the Albert Lea hospital.

He was born August 4, 1899 to Sam and Louise Sorenson in Nunda Twp.  He 
married Olga Syslak in Iowa in 1952.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Selmer Sorenson, Albert Lea; two
sisters, Mrs. Oliver (Mabel) Nelson, Albert Lea; Mrs. Laurence (Luella)
Ferley, Emmons; step-daughter, Mrs. John (Mary Lou) Kenney, Liberty, MO;
and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mrs. Bertha Brua and 
a brother, Vernal.

The funeral was held at the Emmons church, with interment in the Silver
Lake cemetery.  The Rev. Clifford Paulson officiated.
