OBITUARY: Eldo Darrell Bogenschutz, 1921-2004, Worth Co., Iowa [Based on an obituary in the Northwood Anchor online - Aug. 4, 2004] Eldo Darrell Bogenschutz Eldo Darrell Bogenschutz was born Sept. 3, 1921, to Henry and Nina (Klingbeil) Bogenschutz in Foster Township, Faribault County and attended country schools. Eldo served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II from May 1942 to Nov. 1945. On Jan. 6, 1946, Eldo was united in marriage to Lois Mae Floyd in Albert Lea. Eldo lived in Albert Lea area most of his life and was a mail carrier for 13 years. He loved farming and was well known for his Registered Hereford cattle. Eldo was a member of the Crossroads Evangelical Free Church. Survivors include: his wife, Lois; daughter, Becky Koch and her husband Ron of Littleton, Colorado; their son, Brad Koch, and their daughter, Rachel Waterman and her husband Jim; daughter: Cindy Follmuth and her husband Paul of Northwood, Iowa, and their children: Dan Follmuth and his wife Tara, Renae Woodworth and her husband Ben, David Follmuth, Carol Anne Follmuth, and great-grandchildren, Hannah and Claire Woodworth; son Tom Bogenschutz and his wife Marilyn of Savage, Minnesota, and his children, Nicole, Andy, Linda, and Laura Bogenschutz and their children, Lindsey and Megan Brandeland; son, Mike Bogenschutz and his wife Jill of The Woodlands, Texas, and their son, Alec; sister, Lorraine Combs of Hesperia, California; brother, Harland Sandmaier and his wife LaMae of Bricelyn; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Forest Lorenz of Wells, Joann Modderman of Albert Lea, and Janet Ewing and her husband Ray, also of Albert Lea; and many nieces and nephews.
