OBITUARY: Mary Dahlen, c1875-1961, Worth County, Iowa





                           Mrs. Mary Dahlen

Mrs. Mary Dahlen (85) died January 21, 1961.  The funeral was held
at the Silver Lake Church, with the Rev. B.E. Nyjordet officiating.

She had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs.
Melvin Gudvangen, Northwood, since last September.  Before that she
had lived with her sons on the home farm in Silver Lake Twp.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Nels in 1940 and two sons,
Otto and Norris. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Gudvangen;
two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Ringoen and Mrs. Howard Bailey, Glenville,
Minnesota, and two brothers, John Johnson, Pequot Lakes, Minnesota,
and Alfred Johnson, Glenville, Minnesota.
