OBITUARY: Karen (Leidal) Plummer, 1941-2004, Worth County, Iowa #1 of 2 [from Northwood Anchor online, April 21, 2004 (Edited)] Karen (Leidal) Plummer Karen (Leidal) Plummer, 62, Apache Junction, Arizona, died April 17, 2004 at her home. Karen, daughter of Curtis and Luella Leidal of Northwood, was born Dec. 5, 1941. She married Robert Plummer April 1987. Services are pending at this time and a complete obituary will appear later in the Northwood Anchor. #2 [from Northwood Anchor online, May 12, 2004 (Edited)] Karen Plummer Karen Plummer, 62, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at her home in Apache Junction, Arizona, of natural causes. Memorial service will be Saturday, May 15, at First Lutheran Church, Northwood; inurnment following services at Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood. Karen was born Dec. 5, 1941 to Curtis and Luella (Holstad) Leidal in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She graduated from Northwood-Kensett High School in 1960 and Hamilton Business College in 1961. She worked in banks in Clarion, Mason City, Des Moines and Mesa, Arizona. She married Robert Plummer April 9, 1987 in Mesa, Arizona. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Mesa. She was also a very active member of the local Moose fraternity in Mesa and enjoyed bowling and music. She is survived by her husband Bob; one son, Kevin Ganji, Sioux Falls, SD; one grandson, Joshua Ganji; her parents Curtis and Luella Leidal; one step-daughter Rebecca Kay (Todd) Darlan; one step-son Russell J. Plummer; two step-grandchildren Matthew and Lisa Darlan; two sisters LaVerne (Ken) Fredrickson, Kensett, Kathy (Tom) Christianson, Hayfield, MN; two brothers LeRoy (Lonna) Leidal, Hudson, WI and Kevin (Rebecca) Leidal, Solon, IA; one sister-in-law, Hazel Lee Burgett, Des Moines; five nieces, four nephews, three great-nieces, three great-nephews, one great-great-niece and many other relatives and friends.
