OBITUARY: Zona Mae Luecht, 1939-2003, Worth Co., Iowa [Adapted from: www.northwoodanchor.com -- Dec 24, 2003] Zona Mae Luecht Zona Mae Luecht, 64, of Kensett, Iowa, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa. Memorial services were Monday at the Conner Colonial Chapel, Northwood, Iowa, with Rev. Randy Baldwin officiating. According to her wishes her body was cremated. Zona Mae Luecht was born on May 15, 1939 in Northwood, the daughter of Leland and Olga (Dokken) Baldwin. She attended and received her education in the Albert Lea School system, graduating from Albert Lea High School. She married LeRoy Luecht on May 18, 1957, at the First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. After her marriage she worked for 12 years at Land O'Lakes Company in Albert Lea. Zona retired from Land O'Lakes due to ill health. Left to cherish her memory is her husband LeRoy Luecht of Kensett; six children, Dawn Osgood and her husband Jon of St. Ansgar, Ronald Luecht and special friend Lynn Hoeve of Albert Lea, Michael Luecht and his fiance Cheryl Dilling of Albert Lea, Jeffrey Luecht of Freeborn, Minnesota, Terry Luecht and his wife Bobbi Jo of Freeborn, and Teresa Carlson and special friend Shawn of Lake Mills; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Lavern Baldwin and his wife Dolores of Starbuck, Minnesota, Roger Baldwin and his wife Violet of Albert Lea, Terry Baldwin and his wife Carol of Cape Fear, Missouri, Bonnie Barrientos and special friend Jim Swearengen of Glenville, Nola Akemann of Joice, and Leland Baldwin and his wife Joanie of Minneapolis; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Gerald Luecht, a brother, Leon Baldwin, and a grandson, Caleb Anderson. Copyright 2003, K.L. Kittleson
