OBITUARY: Ole T. Odegaard, 1898-1989, Worth Co., Iowa



                           Ole T. Odegaard

Ole T. Odegaard (91) of Emons died December 25, 1989 at the Lake Mills 
Care Center.  The funeral was held at Silver Lake, with the Rev. Allan 
Stoa officiating.

He was born August 15, 1898 in Silver Lake Twp., son of Tosten and
Ragnild (Sorbo) Odegaard.  He worked as a carpenter and in construction.
He also made sorghum on the Ed Loberg farm.  He was a choir director
and choir member of the Silver Lake Lutheran Church for many years.

He is survived by a sister, Minnie Bakken, Emmons; three brothers,
Carl, Albert Lea; Thomas, Lake Mills and William of Northwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Anna and a
brother, the Rev. Gustav Odegaard.
