OBITUARY: Dr. Kevin Gene Schachterle, 1955-2004, Worth Co., Iowa [Adapted from: Northwood Anchor online, Feb. 4, 2004] Dr. Kevin Gene Schachterle Dr. Kevin Gene Schachterle, 48, of Bryan, Texas, formerly of Northwood, Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at the St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas. Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 6 at the First Lutheran Church, 309 North 9th Street, Northwood, with Rev. Wayne Ellingson officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery in Northwood. Kevin Gene Schachterle, was born on Dec. 21, 1955, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Robert W. and Gladys (Koeder) Schachterle. Kevin was a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, and was the owner of the College Station Chiropractic Center in Bryan. Kevin had lived in Bryan for 23 years. He was a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and a Lutheran by faith. Left to cherish his memory include his loving companion Tina Meyers of Bryan and her daughters, Tyna and Carrie; his mother, Gladys Schachterle of Northwood; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dennis Schachterle of Lake Mills, and Michael and Crystal Schachterle of Chanhassen, Minnesota; a niece, Tanya Reader and husband Dr. Nathan Reader of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and a great-nephew, Michael Reader; as well as other relatives and many friends.
