Mason City Globe Gazette, April 23, 1945
 Joice -- Christ Rusley, 67, farmer west of Joice, died Saturday afternoon at 
his country home after several months of failing health.  He had suffered a 
stroke the first part of the week.  Mr. Rusley is survived by his wife and 4 
children: Oscar of Joice; Benny with the medical corps in Italy; Julius at 
home; and Mrs. Wallace Anderson of Joice.
