Kitty was the daughter of Lyman and Sara Perry. She was born March 27, 1893, in Wright county, Ia., fell in sleep September 10, 1909. The family moved to the state of Minnesota in November, 1901, where she remained until April 14, 1909. On that date she said farewell to her Minnesota home forever, returning to Wright county for the brief space of a few months, when the angel of death met her on the way. She leaves behind, to mourn her loss, father and mother, four brothers and two sisters. She was converted to Christ one year ago last winter, although she did not unite herself with any church. This young promising life of 16 years, 5 months, and 14 days, just maturing into young womanhood, laid it down after serving the purpose for which it was given. Into the rest and peace - Of God’s own care; Out of the dimness here, Into the glory there. The funeral services were held in the Congregational church on Tuesday at 11 o’clock. The casket with its silent precious dead rested in the midst of beautiful flowers and forms that loving hands and hearts had brought in silent messages of love and affection to the departed one. The Rev. James Davies spoke on the words: "Some are Fallen Asleep." It was a solemn impressive service. The choir added much to the spritual atmosphere in the presence of death. ---------------###
