 J. L Stephens- Crop in left ear and split in right; brnd, G on either side, 
also S on left shoulder.
 A. L. Miner- brand large M on hip.
 B. B. Bliss- Crop in left ear; Brand D. B. on hip.
 William Moss-Crop in right ear, Brand M on hip.
 C. H. Hull- Crop and under-bit in right ear; brand S H on right hip.

across center.

 Ephraim Smith- Crop, slit and under bit in left ear; brand S on right hip.

horseshoe on left side.

 Philip Everett- Cattle brand, Q on left hip, and half circle E on left side.

 McConnel Bros.- Crop of the right ear and upper half crop off left; Brand M B 
Connected on left hip. Second brand 111 on the right hip, mark split in each 
ear. Yearlings same brand; mark, crop off each ear and two splits in each ear.
 O. J. Slater- Brand on cattle, O S on left hip, half under crop out of each 
ear.
 J. W. Maynard- Cattle brand. ox-yoke on left side, dulap on the neck.
 J. L. J. Smith- Cattle brand, crop and slit in right ear, Y on right hip.
 A. H. Vaughn- Cattle brand, circle on left hip and square and compass on the 
right side. Horse brand, circle on left shoulder.
 N. S. Hubble- Cattle brand 11 on right hip, crop off right ear.
 E. J. Smith- Cattle mark, underbit in each ear, and crop off left ear-brand 71 
on either hip.

 Seth Bixby- Split in left ear; brand B on left hip, and S on the ribs on left 
side. Horses, B on left shoulder.
 G. W. Gess- Under bit in right ear; brand T.
 Adam Schindler- Split in each ear; brand 111 on right side.
 T. G. Gilbert- Crop right ear, and under half crop in left; brand F G on left 
hip.
 J. B. Wright- Crop and split in right ear; brand square and compass.
 J. J. Mastler- A cross slit in left ear; brand J M  on left hip. Horse brand 
same, left shoulder.
 C. R. Hall- Cattle brand H A on right hip, under slope on the right ear, and 
over, on the left; Horse brand H on left shoulder.
 N. Record- Cattle brand, N R  connected, on the left hip , and N*R on the 
horns, and upper slope in each ear, Horse brand N*R on the hoof, and N R 
connected on left shoulder.
 A. O. Bowen- Cattle mark, under slope in each ear , bringing the ear  nearly 
to a point from the under side out to the tip or point.
 B. F. Young- Cattle brand, Y on left hip; upper bit out of each ear.
 W. T. Baker- Crop and split in right ear and underslope in left- figure 2 cn 
left hip.
 J. M. Mason- Under slope in left ear, M on left hip.

 John Smerage- under bit in each ear; brand for cattle + on left hip. and 
horses S on thigh.
  SQUAW CREEK P.O.
 Mitchell & Marsh- Square crop and under bit in right ear; brand a round M on 
left hip.

PAYETTE STORE P.O.
Pence & Erwin- Crop in left ear and slit in right with dulap on neck; brand (o) 
on left shoulder.
 R. Emery- Ear mark, crop off left ear, and upper half off the right, Brand, R 
E  on right side for cattle, on left shoulder for horses.
 O. P. Johnson- Cattle brand J in a circle, on the right side, and circle on 
the left. Ear mark, crop and split in right ear, and under slope in left. Horse 
brand, J on right shoulder.
 A. J. McFarland- Square crop off right ear and branded -|- on left shoulder.

NEELEY'S FERRY
 P. Munday- brand, diamond with small heart in center, on left hip. Herd brand 
H on either hip.
 
LOWER WEISER P.O.
 S. & W. Jeffries- Brand S J on left hip, for cattle, and left shoulder for 
horses.
 
INDIAN CREEK, ALTURAS COUNTY
 Frank Stanton- Horses branded F S on right shoulder, same on cattle, with a 
split in right ear.
 James Wilson- Horses branded F F on left hip, same on cattle; a few cows 
branded on left side; mark crop off right and slit in left. Address,
