Idaho World May 19, 1870
Deputy Sheriff George W. Thatcher, a few days ago, brought up from Boise City 
a Chinaman named Ah Buck, who he had followed and arrested at Boise city. On 
the 15th of last February, Ah Buck stabbed a Chinaman named Loo Lee, at 
Centerville, and he died a few days ago. After his death, Ah Buck disappeared, 
but was followed and brought back by Mr. Thatcher, who lodged him in jail to 
await an examination for murder before Justice Brown.
