Idaho World Newspaper September 15, 1870
 The skeleton of a man was found recently on the banks of the Snake river, 
about two or three miles below the mouth of King Hill Creek, near the crossing 
of the Overland Stage route. There was nothing by which the remains could be 
identified, as the flesh was almost entirely gone from the bones, with the 
exception of a pair of boots, about no 9 and portions of old clothing.
