John Anchustegui, 67, of 2626 Davis St., Boise, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 
1986, at home of natural causes.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Gibson Funeral Home. Mass of 
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 1, at 
St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. John W. Morgan as celebrant. Burial 
will be in Morris Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Anchustegui was born February 7, 1919, at Jordan Valley, Oregon, a 
son of George and Fermina Yturri Anchustegui. He married Narcisa Sabala 
on March 5, 1942, at Boise. He was engaged in the sheep business with 
his father until 1948 when they moved to Boise. John retired from the 
Ada County Highway District in 1981.

John was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Narcisa of Boise; a son, John Jr. of Boise; 
three sisters, Marie (Mrs. Joe) Cortabitarte, Phyllis (Mrs. Henry) 
Uranga and Clarine (Mrs. Gene) Villeneuve, all of Boise; a brother 
George Anchustegui of Star; and several nieces and nephews.  His parents 
died earlier.
