ALLOWAY Graveside services for Mrs. Ethel G. Alloway, 78, of 1903 Idaho, who died Wednesday at a Boise nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Morris Hill by the Rev. Charles L. Lapp of the Boise Avenue Presbyterian Church. She was born July 3, 1892, in Steam Boat Springs, Colo., and came to Boise in 1912. She was married to Samuel A. Alloway in 1913 in Boise, and had lived Boise since 1912. She had worked for the Boise Police Department for 35 years before retiring in 1959. She was a member of the Boise Avenue Presbyterian Church and the Idaho Peace Officers Association. Survivors include a son, Norman H. Alloway, Boise; two grandsons, Jan Norman Alloway, Davenport Iowa, and Dennis C. Alloway, Boise, and a niece, Mrs. Dora Baird Vincent, Boise. Mr. Alloway died Sept. 15, 1938. Summers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
