Dean was born June 9, 1928 in Boise to Luther and Etta(Engleman)Baldwin. He atttended school in Smith's Prarie, Mountain Home and Kuna. He married Maxine E Gutierrez on May 21,1947, in Boise. They lived in Boise where he worked for J.C. Penney Co. for 17 years. He owned and operated a maintence business before going to work for Reed's Associates. He was a member of the LDS Church and the Horseshoe Riding Club. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Gary D. and Terry L., a daughter Connie Sue Walker, and a brother Marlin, all of Boise; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers wil be Merrill Balius, Chuck McMillian, Dave Pugh, Don Mooore, George Colwell and Arleigh Eckhart.
