Boise, Dec 2  (Special)-
Death today had closed the career of Robert N. Bell, for 16 years state mine 
inspector. He succumbed to pneumonia at a Boise hospital Sunday night at the 
age of 71. His illiness had lasted a week.
 Bell served as mine inspector continuously from 1902 to 1920 with the 
exception of the 1909-10 terms when he was not a candidate. He was elected on 
the republican ticket
 He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Miss Bell and a son, Fred Bell, all of 
Boise.
