Marvin John Butts
     Graveside services for Marvin John Butts, 63, of 2938 S Curtis Rd., who 
died Sunday of natural causes at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 
a.m. Thursday at Riverside Cemetary in Emmett by Rev. Thomas J.Blackburn, 
Community Christian Center, under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home.
     Marvin was born June 27,1915 in Eureka Montana to Learin(Leo) and Mary 
Alice Barclay Butts. He graduated from Emmett High School in 1937. He married 
Wanda Ashburn, and to this union two children were born. They were divorced, 
and he then married Nellie L. Wright Peterson, Oct 11, 1946 at Elko Nevada.
     He worked for many years in the automobile body repair business until 
retiring in 1970.
     Surviving are his wife Nellie, two sons, Roger Butts and Vernon Peterson, 
eight daughters,Mrs Harlin(Arleen) Baldwin, Mrs Marlin(Darleen) Baldwin, Betty 
and Linda Butts, Mrs Kenneth(Helen) Brown, Mrs Eugene(Colleen) Cooper all of 
Boise., and Mrs Norman(Patricia)VanBooven of Saudia Arabia, and Mrs William
(Barbara)Nyborg of Mesa Arizona; and 22 grandchildren. He was preceded in 
death by a son Larin Butts, and his parents.
     Friends may call at the funeral home today from 1p.m. until 6p.m.
Memorial may be made to the Idaho Crippled Children Service, Statehouse, Boise 
83720.
