Conner, 92, of 1514 Boise Ave, who died Sunday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Summers Funeral Home by the Rev. Leslie Lowrey of the Red Rock Christian church. Internment will be in the Dry Creek cemetery. He was born Sept. 2, 1882 in Monroe county, Ohio, in Burwell, Nebraska. He married Gladys Howard, April 6, 1910 in Burwell, Nebraska. They farmed in Nebraska before coming to Idaho in 1944. He worked for the railroad in New Meadows for five years and in Tamarack for a year. They moved to Riggins in 1950 and he worked until retirement at age of 76. He was sexton of the Riggins cemetery for two years. They lived in Council for three years before moving to Boise in 1975. He was a member of the Methodist church and a former member of the Odd Fellows lodge in New Meadows. Surviving are his wife of Boise; four daughters, Mrs. Dean (Ruth) McClain of Portland, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Jacobs of Council, Mrs. Virgil (Doris) Keithley of Meridian, and Mrs. Robert (Ava) Mansell of Boise; three sons, Loren of Slayton, Minnesota, Bernard of New Meadows, and Marion of Kettle Falls, Washington; 28 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
