One of the deceased veterans was Andrew M. H. Bacon, who went to the home from Ada county. He was 75 years of age and was a member of the Sixteenth United States infantry during the Mexican war. He was found dead in bed yesterday morning and heart failure is given as the cause. It is thought he expired about midnight. Charles Davis, another of the old veterans, passed away at 9:30 yesterday morning. He was taken down with malaria and pneumonia followed. Davis was 53 years of age. He was a member of company A, fiftieth Wisconsin. Davis came to the home from Kootenai county. Budd Clark died at 1:15 a.m. of fatty degeneration of the heart. He was 58 years of age. He served during the civil war in company D, Twenty-eighth Iowa. Mrs. John M. Fuss of this city is a daughter of the deceased. A call has been issued for the members of G. A. R. and the Women's Relief Corps to meet at G. A. R. hall at 1:30 sharp to attend the funeral.
