HELVEY Charles W. Helvey, 59, of Boise, route 3, died Friday morning in a Boise hospital following a short illness. Mr. Helvey was born Dec. 15, 1897, in Steamboat Springs, Colo. He moved to Boise from Colorado in 1910 and attended Boise schools. He attended the Denver School of Pharmacy, graduating in 1929, and had been employed by the Ballou-Latimer Drug company for 42 years. He was married to Vida Rondeau in Boise on Aug. 19, 1930. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Helvey are two daughters, Kathryn and Kathleen Helvey, both at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Alloway and Mrs. Gracie Baird, and a brother, J. L. Helvey, all of Boise. Services will be announced by the McBratney-Alden Chapel. ======================================================= Boise Statesman Newspaper, 25 November 1957 CHARLES W. HELVEY Services for Charles W. Helvey will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at McBratney-Alden chapel with the Rev. Dr. Herbert E. Richards and the Rev. Dr. Charles M. Donaldson officiating. Interment will be at Morris Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter J. Ford, Harold Potter, J.J. Lynch, Glenn Smith, Frank Folger, Lon Davis, Floyd Richardson, M.C. MacQuivey, Charles Lemp, Charles Smith, Blaine Casper, Bruce Hill, Richard W. Parker, Donald Ness and Dr. A. B. Boeck.
