Idaho Statesman, March 24, 1911
LAMBERT -- Hiram L. Lambert, "Cap" Lambert, as he was familiarly known to the
citizens of Boise, one of the picturesque figures of the city, died yesterday at
the home of F. L. Hausauer, 1018 Idaho street.  For years the old man has been a
familiar figure at coroner's inquests, acting as bailiff of juries and doing
such odd jobs of that nature  as his health would permit.  His only known
relative is a son residing in Minneapolis, whom the police here have tried to
reach.  No arrangements will be made for the  funeral until he is located.  The
body is at Schreiber & Sidenfaden's establishment.
