McConnel Services for Miss Margaret I. McConnel, 82, 3721 Kootenai, who died Sunday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Summers Chapel by the Rev. Wendell L. Coe of the Methodist Church. Interment will follow at 3:45 p. m. at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell. Miss McConnel was born March 21, 1885, in Parma, the youngest child of David K. and Mina McConnel, Idaho pioneers. Her father arrived in the Boise valley in 1861. She attended school at Parma and the University of Idaho and was employed at department stores in Caldwell and Boise for a number of years. For the past several years, she had been semi-confined to her home because of failing health. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are five nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. She was a younger sister of Fred H. McConnel, Caldwell civil engineer, and Maj. Gen. M. G. McConnel, long-time Idaho adjutant general. Pallbearers will be Fred C., Keith, and Blake Moore, Allen G. Nelson, Jimmie L. Simmons, and Bart Ballantyne.
