Submitted by: Maxine Reggio BOISE, IDAHO Newspaper Hiram Mills Nampa - Hiram Mills, 76, of Nampa, Route 1, died Monday morning in a Nampa hospital after a brief illness. Born Nov.8, 1887, in Drexel, Mo., he came to Idaho at the age of 20. He then returned to Missouri where he lived until 1917, when he returned to Nampa. On June 11,1918, he married Mary Jane McCain in Nampa. He farmed in the Lone Star community since that time. Mrs. Mills died Oct. 29, 1962. Mr. Mills was a member of the Congregational Church. Surviving are three sons, Donald Mills of Boise, Jesse Mills of Ontario, Ore., and Hugh Mills of Upper Lake, CA.; one daughter, Mrs Elizabeth Provins of Orangevale, CA., two brothers, Clay and George Mills, both of Nampa; one sister, Mrs Laura Walsh of Harrisonville, MO., and 11 grandchildren Services will be conducted Wed.at 3 p.m. at the Alsip Chapel by the Rev. Thomas Wilbanks, assisted by Dr.Robert Shupe. Interment will follow at Gordon Communion at Hillcrest.
