Rusabell@aol.com August 9, 2010, 2:45 pm Mason City Globe Gazette, Friday, December 20, 1946 Nora Springs—Relatives in this area have been informed of the death of Lawrence O. Wamstad, 69, at his home in Roswell. Idaho, Nov. 25, following an illness of several weeks. He was born Dec. 22, 1876, at Nora Springs, the son of Ole and Karine Peterson Wamstad, and grew to manhood here. He was educated in the rural schools of this community and later attended the Nora Springs seminary. In his youth he was confirmed in the Rock Creek Lutheran church and after going to Idaho in March, 1906, he joined the Presbyterian Church in Roswell. He was married to Miss Ethel Mathews Dec. 11, 1924, in Boise, Idaho. Survivors are his wife; 3 brothers, Carl of Parma, Idaho, Henry of Osage, and Milton of Nora Springs. Burial was at Boise, Idaho.
