Additional Comments:
He was appointed postmaster of the "Squaw Creek" post office, near the present-
day community of Montour, Gem County, Idaho, in June 1877. Twelve years later 
the post office was renamed "Marsh." He continued to serve as postmaster until 
October of 1902.
