Bernice, the 4-year old daughter of Mrs. Ed Goodman, died last Sunday night at 
10 o'clock of a trouble caused from la grippe.  About ten days ago she was 
taken ill with a light attack of la grippe, inflammation of the bowels 
followed and a short time before her death a bad case of pneumonia developed.  
During the 24 hours preceding her death it was realized that she could not 
live, but every possible effort was made to fan the little spark of life, but 
to no avail.  The sorrowing parents accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. H. Goodman 
started Tuesday morning for Meadows with the remains, where they will be 
interred beside other relatives
