Mr. Groseclose was born in Indiana in 1824. He is an old pioneer of Washington county having lived in this neighborhood for nearly forty years. During this time he made many friends and was considered an excellent neighbor by all who knew him. Mr. Groseclose leaves a wife, two sons and four daughters to mourn his untimely departure from this world. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon and interment made in the Hornet Creek cemetery. Rev. Stover preached a very appropriate sermon for the occasion. The many friends of Mr. Groseclose extend their sincere sympathy to the grief stricken wife and children in this hour of sorrow. Card of Thanks We wish to extend our hearties thanks to our kind neighbors and friend who so kindly assisted us during the illness and death of our beloved father and husband.
