Services Today for Mrs. Anna Hansen
 
Mrs. Anna Marie Hansen, 83, died at the home of her son-in-law, Ellis Hartley, 
near Payette late Monday.
 
The services will be held in the Fruitland Methodist Church Friday morning at 
10:30 with the Rev. James E. Allen officiating.  Interment will be in Council 
where Mrs. Hansen lived for many years.  The services in Council will held 
today (Friday) at 3:30 pm. at the Congregational Church.
 
Anna Marie Nelson was born in Denmark, Nov 21, 1857, and was married to Rasmus 
Hansen in 1879.  Later they came to the United States and settled first at 
Logan, Utah, in 1881.  Two years later they moved to Council, where Mr. Hansen 
died in 1920.  She moved to the Fruitland bench in 1931, where she had lived 
since.
 
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Anna Hansen, Fruitland, and Mrs. Christian 
Ross, Melba, two sons, Nels Hanson, Fruitland, and William Hanson, Council.  
14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  One son, Soren and one daughter 
Mrs. Ellis Hartley proceeded their mother in death.
 
Note:  Burial at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Council, Idaho.  ch
