Dies suddenly
 
Mrs. A. Kesler was stricken with paralysis last night about 9 o'clock and 
passed away to the home of eternal rest about 1 o'clock.  She has been 
enjoying fairly good health until last evening when she felt a little dizzy.  
She started towards the bureau but was stricken and fell before she could be 
reached.  Both doctors were called and everything was done that could be but 
without avail.
 
Martha Jane Summerville was born near Wheeling, Vir., about 1837.  She was 
married to Alex Kesler in Virginia in 1859.  They celebrated their golden 
wedding last September.  They came west in 1871 locating in Salubria Valley.  
In the following spring they moved to Council Valley where they have resided 
ever since.
 
Mrs. Kesler was a loving wife and mother, was always willing to help her 
friends in time of need and was loved by all who new her.
 
Besides her husband she leaves nine children, four boys and five girls to 
mourn her untimely ???
 
The funeral services will be held Monday if relatives arrive otherwise they 
will be held later.
