Died at Baker City
 
Word was received yesterday stating that Mrs. Wilburn Whitely died in the 
hospital at Baker City yesterday morning.  She was taken there three weeks ago 
to have an operation for several troubles.  Shortly after the operation word 
was received that she was getting better and not until yesterday did her many 
friends here realize different.
 
She was brought home today and the funeral services will be held tomorrow.
 
We will publish obituary next week.
