Council Advance: W. B. Daty and L. B. Bradley of Pocatello, Idaho, while inspecting the timber near the Kramer state station on the Council-Seven Devils stage line Wednesday of last week, became confused in the snow storm that was then raging and became lost in the mountains. Upon their non-appearance at the stage station, Mr. Kramer sent out a searching party, who, after many hours of diligent search, found the lost men almost famished for the want of food and so badly chilled that it was with much difficulty that they were able to get them to the station where it was found they were not materially injured. When it is taken into consideration that the parties had been wandering for 36 hours in the mountains in snow from 18 inches to three feet deep, their escape seems almost miraculous.
