All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ****************************************************************** HELEN FREAR Helen Esther Frear, 77, 728 Fir,died Tuesday at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Springs, MD. following an illness. She was born Oct 5, 1908 in Furnas County, Neb., to Alonzo C. and Estella E. Cass Carngrover. She received her early education and graduated from high school in Beaver City, Neb. She married Donald H. Frear Feb. 21, 1928 in Beaver City. He died Dec. 16, 1959. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She also belonged to the Friendship Club, the ladies' auxiliary of the Royal Order of Moose and the United Transportation Union. A retired seamstress, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed traveling to visit relatives. She was visiting her sons in Maryland when she became ill. She and her husband came to Pocatello in 1944 and have been here since that time. Survivors include two sons, Donald L. Frear and Harld D. Frear, both of Rockville, MD.; one daughter, Barbara L. Copeland, Monroe, La.,; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl R. Barngrover, Norton, Kan.; Dale Blaine Barngrover, Tucson, Ariz.; and one sister, Pearl O. Barngrover, American Falls. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Downard Funearl Chapel, 241 N. Garfield, with the Rev. James R. Dunn of The Assembly of God Church in American Falls officiating. The famiy will receive friends Monday at Downard's from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing may make contributions to the United Methodist Church or a cancer or heart fund.
