He was serving in the Marine Corps, stationed at 29 Palms, Calif. Mr. Scott was born Aug. 29, 1962, in Salt Lake City, the son of Gary G. Scott Sr. and Glenda Wilde Scott. The family moved to Blackfoot shortly after his birth and he lived here and in Pocatello until he enlisted in the Marines. He spent a tour of duty for 18 months in Japan. While in Blackfoot, he attended school and was active in gymnastics. He liked to play the drums. He also was an outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his mother, Glenda Male of Pocatello; his father and step mother, Gary and Sharee Scott of Pingree; one brother, Steven Scott of Pingree; two sisters, Julie Barney of Salt Lake City and Melissa Male of Pocatello; one step-brother, Ronald Wolfley of Blackfoot; two step-sisters, Stephanie Stone and RaeMona Stone both of Pingree; grand parents, Evelyn Bateman of Pocatello, Mr.and Mrs. Myron Wilde of Carey, Mrs. Carmen Scott of Pingree, and Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Villasenor of Blackfoot; and great grandparents, Mrs. Mona Leavitt of Layton, Utah, and Birigida Villasenor of Blackfoot. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hill-Sandberg Funeral Chapel. Bishop Sander L. Bybee of the Thomas LDS 3rd Ward will conduct the services. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. The family will be there to meet with friends from 7-9 p.m., and for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Riverside Thomas Cemetery.
