Wood River Times October 1915
  Walter Pyrah who has been in the city since last Friday, left this afternoon 
for his home in Carey. He is suffering from an attack of blood poison, but 
having had a physician treat his left hand as soon as he discovered the 
ifection, the spread of the poison was checked in time. He contracted the 
infection from sticking his hand with a sliver while putting up a scaffold on 
his ranch at Carey.
