The deceased was a native of Canada where in 1859 he was wedded to Martha Moore, who survives him. Coming to Wood River in 1885 Mr. and Mrs. Bellinger have lived in Bellevue ever since. Besides his widow he leaves to mourn his loss five children and several grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Doc. Donnelly of Broadford, Merrit and Richard Bellinger, Mrs. William Marion Black and Mrs. Charles Gilman all of Bellevue. The old gentleman therefore had the rare pleasure of having all his children with him through life. Mrs. William Black who is in Oakland, Ca. where her eldest daughter Violet is at school, was notified of the illiness of her parents but not informed of the imminence of death. She wired answer that she would come as soon as she possibly could. As she was notified today of her father's death she will doubtlessly try to get home in time to attend the funeral. Mrs. Bellinger, who was deemed more critically ill than her husband is somewhat better today, although by one o'clock this afternoon she had not been informed of her husband's death. No funeral arrangements have been made.
