Idaho World Newspaper December 1, 1870
 Thomas Wethered, formerly a resident of Idaho City, who was convicted of 
manslaughter for killing Wm. Richard,in Ada County, has been sentenced to ten 
years hard labor in the territorial Prison. He arrived at the prison on last 
Saturday.
