WIFE OF D. E. COUGHANOUR DIED AT ST. ALPHONSUS
 
Mrs. Levina Coughanour, wife of David E. Coughanour of Quartzburg, dies at St. 
Alphonsus hospital at 10 o'clock last night.  The remains will be taken to 
Quartzburg tomorrow and the funeral will be held there at 2 o'clock Friday 
afternoon.
 
Mrs. Coughanour suffered from kidney and heart troubles for a long time prior 
to her death.  A few weeks ago she was brought to the hospital here and the 
doctors, after an examination pronounced her case hopeless.  She had been 
hovering between life and death for several days.
 
The deceased was one of the pioneer women of the state.  She was married to 
Mr. Coughanour in San Francisco and 20 years ago they came to Idaho.  She was 
53 years of age.  Two children survive her.
