BABE IMPALED ON A NAIL
Thrown From Mother's Lap In Runaway at Boise
Boise,Idaho,Oct.6-(Special)- The 18 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry K. 
Fritchman was impaled on a nailthis afternoon and instantly killed. The 
mother, with her hild, ws driving with a woman friend. They passed through a 
gate. While th ecompanion was closing this the horse bolted. Mr. Fritchman was 
holding the child on he rlap, and could not control the animal.
At the first turn the buggy was upset,throwing the occupants out. The child 
went against a fence, and a projecting nail penetrated its head at the base of 
the brain. The mother was very badly bruised.
Fritchman was wired to at La Grande,Or., he is a traveling salesman for a 
grocery house.
