Bostrom, 75 Edward W. Bostrom, 75, of Oldtown, Idaho passed away August 29, 2005 in Spokane, Wash. following a long illness. Edward was born December 19, 1929 in Cheyenne, Wyo. the son of Henry and Henrietta Bostron. After graduating from Cusick High School he joined the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. On December 15, 1956 he married Bernadine Pearce in Newport, Wash. Together they moved to Oldtown in 1960. Edward worked 37 years for Diamond Match as a saw filer retiring in 1992. Edward loved working around the house. He built a beautiful pond and waterfalls on the property. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Edward's greatest love was spending time with his grandson Tyson. Survivors include his wife Bernie at the family home; one son Raymond Bostrom of Spokane Valley, Wash. and one grandson Tyson Bostrom also of Spokane Valley. Survivors also include three brothers Charles "Chuckie" (and Dona) Bostron of Cheyenne, Wyo., Larry (and Mary) Bostron of Blaine, Washi., and Jerry Bostron of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two sisters, Frieda (and Joe) Carrico of Soldotna, Ala. and Patricia Hickman of Sumner, Wash. ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is also survived by sister-in-law Nona Bostron. Besides his parents, Edward was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Bostrom and a brother, Donald Bostron. Private family services will be held at a later date. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
