Darlyne was born on Feb. 26, 1939 to Henry and Mary Dalebout Brown in Priest River, Idaho. She attended schools in Priest River, Sandpoint and Nampa, Idaho until 1965 when she moved to Milton Freewater, Ore., to be close to her family. She loved life to the fullest and enjoyed many special times during her life. She looked forward to her many visits from her Mother, family and friends and especially her brothers. These visits were always rewarding and very often inspirational. Darlyne often didn't say much but always made those around her feel loved. Truly having Darlyne as a daughter and sister was a special part of our lives. Darlyne loved her animals especially her cat. She enjoyed being in the outdoors picking huckleberries and fishing in Moore Creek. Darlyne loved to visit with children especially her nieces and nephews. In the later years, Darlyne spent much of her time listening to Christian music, playing Bingo, attending church services and enjoying the people around her. Darlyne is survived by her mother, Mary Denton of Walla Walla; three brothers, Richard L. Brown of Bonners Ferry, Robert N. Brown of Walla and Terry U. Brown of Fort Colleens, Colo. and four aunts and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Brown, stepfather Richard Denton and her grandparents.
