Leo Butts
     Services for Leo Butts, 73,who died Tuesday at his home in Garden City 
after a long illness, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Beatty Chapel 
here.
     The Rev. J.Edwin Elder officated. Internment was at Riverside Cemetary in 
Emmett.
     Mr Butts was born at Algmoa, Ont., March 27,1888. He went to Montana in 
1906, to Priest River in 1919 and then to Emmett in 1920. He operated a 
cabinet shop in McCall from 1946 until September of last year when he moved to 
Garden City.
     Mr Butts was married to the former Alice Barclay at Gateway Mont., Sept 
13,1913. She died in 1938. He was married to Leonota Manis in Caldwell in 
1940, and she survives.
     Other survivors include a son, Marvin J.Butts, of Boise, a foster son 
Lester Applegate of Yuma City Calif.,a foster daughter, Mrs Peggy Mayhew, of 
McCall, a brother Alexander Butts, of Orville Calif., two sisters, Mrs 
Georgianna Mingus of Orville Calif., and Mrs Mary Sheridian of Emmett.
