Campbell, Jr., 52 Darrell W. Campbell, Jr. of Oldtown, Idaho passed away Aug. 3, 2005 in Montana after injuries sustained from a logging accident. Darrell was born May 6, 1953 in Newport, Wash. the son of Ruth E. (Rife) and Darrell Campbell Sr. He graduated from Newport High School in 1971. On March 17, 1995 he married Lori Ann Boles in Cusick, Wash. Darrell was employed with Stimson Lumber, two weeks short of working 30 years as a cut off saw operator. He just recently started working with his brother, Mike, in the logging business. Darrell was known to everyone as a hard worker who loved his job. He also loved the outdoors including fishing and hunting. Although he loved the outdoors his greatest love was spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Lori at the family home; three sons, Brian (and Danielle) Campbell of Spokane, Wash., James (and Doralynn) Campbell and Rob Campbell, both of Newport, Wash.; six grandchildren; his father, Darrell W. Campbell Sr.; two sisters, Evelyn (and Mel) Logan of Newport, Wash. and Fern (and Ken) Smith of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; two brothers, Mike and Joe Campbell, both of Oldtown, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1999. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 12, 2005 at Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash. A reception will follow the services at the Newport Eagles. Sherman-Knapp funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
